It was saddening to hear the recent remarks by the Catholic Church (read here). Although committed to ecumenical discussion (i.e. discussing between all different denominations), they declared themselves to be the only "full" Churches of Christ. Pray for the same spirit of unity for which Jesus prayed (John 17), that rather than bickering among ourselves, we would as the Church worldwide actually focus on the mission for which God has created and sent us!

Monica, Greg and Chloe (and Kathy) left for the West Coast yesterday morning. Pray for a time of renewal and refreshing as they are both pretty exhausted I believe! May they be rejuvenated by time with family (and of course the beautiful West Coast!).
Matt Adams headed up to Pioneer Camp this week as part of his work with LAUNCH. Pray for relationship building with LIT's and staff, that the vision of LAUNCH would touch those who could benefit from the program.
