As ever, the things we can be praying for in our communities and in the world are seemingly never-ending. Yet, we pray with hope in the resurrection of Christ - that God is at work in the midst of suffering and turmoil. Although it seems in some respects to be a repeat of Clinton's talks 7 years ago, George Bush and the leaders of Palestine and Israel have agreed to work towards the creation of a Palestinian state. It is a step. Pray for this process, that peace would reign despite the opposition of militant Hamas and conservative Jews.
There were also more shooting deaths this weekend. One of the youth who was killed was involved with Youth Unlimited. These leaves the worker devastated and distraught. Pray for him, the community and the youth in our city.
Pray for one another! Use the prayer map. Email tilt.toronto AT gmail.com if you'd like to be added.
As always, add a comment so we can pray for you or celebrate with you!

I think I speak for most students when I say we are entering 'crunch time'. I have a multitude of papers yet to be written in the midst of the normal fullness of life. Pray for focus, discipline and that wondrous skill of time management.
Several things to pray for in the TILT community:
- Ivan's family in Bangladesh. Thankfully, they are OK! However, they have lost everything. Pray for patience, perseverance and providence (alliteration not intended)
- Praise God for Barb's mom's new job!
- Continue to pray for the families of Sarah P, Peggy M, Lindzie C (hopefully I spelled that right) as they deal with sickness and grief.
- Pray for safe driving for Greg and Mon as they return from their trip to Boston/Cape Cod
Dear Monks,
I would like to request your prayers for a solution to a financial need. Thank you
anonymous,
